We had the writing marathon today! Here are some of the pictures I took:
Jen, Megan, Sonia and I began our marathon at the Amphitheater.
We then moved to the Alice Campbell Alumni Center. Here is a piece I wrote inspired by its fountain:
"Are people allowed to get into the water and play? I suppose not. It would be nice, though, in hot summer days. It reminds me of my childhood. The smell of fried fish coming out of my grandma's kitchen late in the afternoon. We would have it with tomato and onion salad. She will shout our names when dinner was ready. We would probably be playing around the house or in the fields nearby. I miss fried fish now, but it took me some time to fully appreciate it. As a child, I used to be a picky eater. Some of the food looked strange to me; something about its color wasn't right."

Third and last stop: the Engineering area. You can see Jen and the guy with the bun next to her. He had a peculiar writing posture :p
